MotoTrials is a non-speed motorcycle event where riders navigate a series of obstacles — rock, logs, water — without putting a foot down. It's scored on cleanliness, not time. Trials is one of the most popular motorcycle disciplines in the UK and Spain, and MWTA runs its Nebraska rounds under the NATC national series. Modern trials bikes are lightweight and seatless, ridden standing the whole way through.
Strider, Cadet, Rookie, and Sportsman classes run the Saturday before nearly every event. Strider entry is free.
Most rounds run at our home venue in Nehawka, with a couple of events out at Alma each year.
MWTA is entirely volunteer-run — course design, registration, and the rulebook are all handled by our steering committee.
Registration is walk-up at every event — no pre-registration needed. Late signup opens 15 minutes before the posted start time ($5 late fee applies). AMA membership is only required for the May 2-Day, October 2-Day, and National Round events — every other event on the schedule is open without it.
